Another camping cake

Wow!  What a month for making cakes, I still have my daughter's to do! :0)  I made this cake for a friends son who is having a joint camping party with his friend.  I decided to do something different from the cake I made for her (see camping cake).  I made my own modelling paste to make the tents, leaving them overnight to dry.  Quite a sweet looking cake, hopefully they will like it! x

Another for a friends grandson!:0)
The sugarpaste was a nightmare!  It was too dry, but luckily she wasn't paying for it phew!!!!!

Dog (spaniel) Birthday Cake

Another cake, another customer, this time a cocker spaniel (although not too sure if it looks like one!) However, it looks like a dog and not a monkey which is the main thing!  I think she looks sad, but I have never been great at doing eyes, so maybe that's why!
I made a chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream filling - tasted wonderful if I do say so! yum x

Mountain Climber Novelty Cake (MT. Kilimanjaro)

My first official cake !!! (ie for someone I don't know).  I made a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and covered it with sugarpaste.  I had really good fun making this cake and it turned out just as I hoped it would.  It was made for a Dad who has recently climbed MT. Kilimanjaro, I hope he liked it.......

Limousine Birthday Cake

Well I should actually give the credit for this cake to my husband Dave!  He sculptured the cake as well as made the fixtures.  I just made the cake and covered it!  So thanks Dave ;0) xx
This was very tricky to create, but overall I was happy with the end result and thankfully so was Dave!
