Horse Birthday Cake

The photographs do not do this cake its full justice!  Such a lovely cake, it looked stunning!  Many thanks to my husband Dave who sculptured the head and in my opinion did a perfect job.  The customer loved it!  This is one of my favourites!

40th Birthday Cake

This cake was a quickie, something I rustled up in under 24 hours!  I think the paint was still wet when collected :0)
The cake was covered in brown sugarpaste (favourite colour of the birthday girl!).  I made a figurine of the the birthday girl and paid homage to the Olympics, by giving her a gold medal with 40 written on it.   I added some 'fun' aspects such as the cats and angry birds as requested by her husband.  I hope she likes it!

Dog (spaniel) Birthday Cake

Another cake, another customer, this time a cocker spaniel (although not too sure if it looks like one!) However, it looks like a dog and not a monkey which is the main thing!  I think she looks sad, but I have never been great at doing eyes, so maybe that's why!
I made a chocolate cake with a vanilla buttercream filling - tasted wonderful if I do say so! yum x
